FM300 (EXTECH INSTRUMENTS)

The FM300 from Extech Instruments is a desktop formaldehyde (CH2O or HCHO) monitor. This is designed with electrochemical vented ball sensor technology for quickly detecting HCHO or CH2O gas. It measures formaldehyde concentration, air temperature and humidity. It displays them simultaneously on a four-tiered LCD monitor with date (year, month, day) and time. Calculates statistical weighted averages of TWA (8 hour time weighted average) and STEL (15 minute short term exposure limit). It is excellent for monitoring indoor air quality of areas affected by formaldehyde gas. Formaldehyde is used in the manufacture of many industrial and consumer goods.
