The 9001037-2 is a 2m grey standard GPIB Cable. It is a digital interface for programmable instrumentation/measurement devices control. IEEE488.2 and SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments) extend the original standard in terms of data transmission protocols or device commands. Today IEEE488 interfaces are typically used for high-end instrumentation. Despite - or perhaps because of its long existence is IEEE488 proven a million times, reliability and operational safety.
