DM300018 (MICROCHIP)

The DM300018 is a dsPICDEM 2 development and evaluation tool that helps to create embedded applications using dsPIC30F digital signal controllers in 18 pin PDIP, 28 pin SPDIP and 40 pin PDIP packages. The dsPICDEM 2 development board provides both a hardware and software baseline capability to help jump start your application. Sockets are provided for 28 pin and 40 pin devices in the dsPIC30F motor control family and 18 pin, 28 pin and 40 pin devices in the dsPIC30F general Purpose and sensor family. The dsPICDEM 2 development board includes a dsPIC30F4011 digital signal processor in the 40 pin motor control socket, a power supply regulator, crystal oscillators for each set of sockets, an ICD header for the MPLAB ICD 2 in circuit debugger and both UART and CAN ports for external communication. In addition, the board is populated with prototyping hardware, including LED indicators, push button switches, a potentiometer, a temperature sensor and an LCD screen.
