The 81272 is a 0.75-inch clear high-temperature Wescorp antistatic ESD Polyimide Tape with 3-inch plastic core. It generates less than 50V when unwound from roll making it safe to use around most ESD sensitive items. It may be exposed to high temperatures for wave soldering and other applications without leaving residue when removed. it is used in applications masking PCB gold features for wave soldering and IR reflow ovens.
- Low charging polyimide film with polysiloxide adhesive
- 1 x 10⁸ to < 1 x 10¹¹R Surface resistance
- Temperature resistance to a maximum of 572°F for 10s
- Tape is wound on a plastic core
- Marked with manufacture information per ANSI/ESD S541 for quality control purposes
- Removal leaves little or no residue
