ISL9241HRTZ-T7A (RENESAS)
NOTEBOOK BATTERY CHARGER 4X4 TQFN, T&R
The ISL9241 combination buck-boost battery charger is ideal for products with USB-C power delivery functionality. This part supports both Narrow Voltage Direct Charging (NVDC) and Hybrid Power Buck-Boost (HPBB) charging, and switches between the modes using firmware control. It provides a low-cost, small solution size capable of efficiently processing a full range of power levels. The ISL9241 leverages Renesas' advanced R3™ modulation technology for superior light-load efficiency and ultra-fast transient response to extend battery run-time. The charger's reconfigurable internal registers allow the use of a smaller inductor for HPBB mode to achieve higher efficiencies across multiple power levels. An integrated 8-bit ADC provides digital telemetry to monitor key system parameters on battery and adapter side as well as the system side - including battery voltage, charge/discharge current, adapter input voltage and current, system bus voltage and system temperature. The ISL9241 al
