The MC001668 from Multicomp is a re-reel splice kit. This kit enables operators to attach a depleted reel of components to the beginning of a new reel and avoid production downtime. The splice tool included in the kit is stapler design hand tool which can be used with all types of SMT material and it features durable/hard wearing steel construction, easy to install at docking station (optional), ergonomically designed handle for comfort. This kit also includes SMD cover tape extenders providing an additional 500mm of tape as a leader and reducing wastage, suitable for use with all major SMT pick and place feeders.
