17200 (DESCO)

The 17200 is a blue heel Foot Grounder provides a continuous ground path between an operator and properly grounded ESD protected flooring. It is designed for use on standard shoes. It can be easily adjusted to fit most individuals. Disco's foot grounder has a lining that prevents carbon marks on shoes. It has discrete resistors built into the contact strip. The product has been tested to ESD STM97.2 - floor materials and footwear voltage measurement in combination with a person. It is a suitable ESD footwear component in flooring - footwear system when used as the primary grounding method. It has 0.060-inch thick 2-layer laminated rubber sole, insulative neoprene inner and black conductive neoprene outer layer. The 3/8-inch wide, 30-inch long blue nylon ribbon contains 8 electrically conductive carbon suffused fibres, reversible, may be positioned on either side of foot. It features size adjustable material expands to fit most shoe sizes comfortably and flex during walking.
