GT16 (VIBTEC)

The GT16 is a Turbine Vibrator made from an extruded stove enamelled aluminium section and fitted with hard coated aluminium end plates having right and left hand threads, these should only be removed using the correct size face spanner. The vibration is produced by the centrifugal force of the positive and negative unbalanced moments in the rotor. The rotor is supported on two heavy duty pre-lubricated matched sealed bearings. Special high performance grease ensures a long working life. The inner and outer race way of the bearing are designed so that the bearings can easily be removed without using special tools. The GT range of the turbine vibrator particularly suitable for use in food and pharmaceutical industries where exhaust contaminated with oil is unacceptable. No airline lubrication is required, but clean filtered air is essential. It is extremely quiet and produces low noise levels on most of the applications, thus helping to conform to noise regulations.
