The SIP-005AFS301 from Samsung Artik is an ARTIK™ 530 IoT module. It is a highly integrated system-in-module that combines a quad core ARM® Cortex®-A9 processor packaged DRAM and flash memories, secure element and wide range of wireless communication options such as 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth®4.2 (BLE+Classic) and 802.15.4 for ZigBee® /thread all into one 49 x 36mm footprint. It takes ARTIK™ 520's combination of power and multimedia and adds power while reducing cost. Although the footprint is larger, users still get amazing multimedia capabilities and connectivity options. The ARTIK™ 530 features a quad core processor for local data processing and a multimedia engine to handle audio and video processing. The module also supports most of the commonly used local area wireless standards such as 802.11, Bluetooth®, ZigBee® and Thread.
