AMB2220-1 (WURTH ELEKTRONIK)

The AMB2220-1 from Amber Wireless is a 2.4GHz long range, low power radio module with 50 ohm RF pad. It is a compact radio data transmission module for wireless half-duplex communication specially designed for long range applications with low data rates. The integrated microprocessor controls data communication, handling packet and checksum generation, addressing. The freely available graphical user interface makes it easy to set operating parameters. The AMB2220-1 is designed as a SMT device and is suitable for automatic component assembly. The integrated MCU offers enough of free space to implement customer specific applications on request. The AMB2220 is connected to a host system via the UART interface. RF sensitivity is down to -113dBm (at 1.5Kbps, radiated) and down to -115dBm (at 1.5Kbps, 50 ohm) It is used in data collection, remote monitoring, remote control and wireless sensor networks. It is ideal for battery powered devices.
